Laboratory Fabricated Metal Filling

Patient had a broken and sensitive amalgam filling that needed replacement.
We opted for a laboratory fabricated metal filling because the patient is fond of hard to chew foods and we wanted to get tight contacts in between the two fillings to avoid a potential food trap.

The fillings were cemented in place.

Sensitivity was gone after the filling was cemented.
